The Trial of the Chicago 7 2020
Based on real-life events, the movie shows the events of Chicago, 1968. A group of anti-Vietnam demonstrators is calling for the end of the US war against Vietnam. The police forcibly dispersed the demonstrators, but seven of them managed to be arrested and very soon they will be put on trial for organising riots. Judge Julius Hoffman wants to punish demonstrators to the full extent of the law, but faces public pressure that is totally on the side of imprisoned activists.
